    Hi,

After plugin installation (without errors) I’m trying to turn the plugin on and I’m getting error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION, expecting ‘)’ in /../public_html/wp-content/plugins/ultimate-social-media-icons/libs/controllers/sfsi_buttons_controller.php on line 877

Can you please advise what to do?

Ok which PHP version are you running on? We require at least PHP 5.4. Please also have a look at http://www.ultimatelysocial.com/faq

Same issue for me – it keeps installing with no progress and it ends up with installation error message.

@zaiac – Ok, so now the installation is the problem for you? What’s the precise error message you get?

With the (PLUS) version I can not even install it – error is cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 299359 milliseconds with 2764470 out of 7089367 bytes received (I have no internet access issues though).

With “no PLUS” version the issue is as in the initial post.

You right @socialdude, I have version 5.2.17, I need to find out how to upgrade if possible.

By the way, the url you shared doesnt work to me.

    Thanks for all the help.

@icicleta Thanks for pointing that out, I had a typo in there, now corrected, see above link.

@zaiac: Could you please also check the FAQ link? E.g. please check your PHP version, and that you have CURL activated.

Hovewer I have other issue. Can you help me out with it?
Even tough I’ve set only 1 action for G+ and Twitter, I can see the popup being generated after hovering over the icons. You can see this issue on http://www.prezentello.pl

Yes, that’s because the sharing button comes from Google. It is possible to not show the tooltip in our premium plugin: https://www.ultimatelysocial.com/usm-premium/
