    Hi folks,
I have tried to search this part of the forum, but I can’t find a search facility. So, hope this Q hasn’t already been asked… apologies if it has:

I notice in Responsive that there is now a hooks.php file, which I assume is to be used instead of a functions.php file.

I have tried to upload it into my child them, tho can’t seem to see any of the changes I’ve made on my web pages.

Q1. Do you have to put the file (or any other PHP file) in a folder directory that matches the parent theme? – Or can you have all your child theme files in one child theme folder?

Q2. What do you type (if anything) at the top of a PHP file in the child theme, to ensure that it points to the parent theme?

… thank you for reading 🙂
