Getting Javascript Protection Error / Bugs in Captcha reload Button

    With the latest Silentshield Version 3.2.0 I’m getting various issues (tested in Firefox / Chrome)

    I’m using a form created in the latest Elementor version 3.35.5, that was working without problems in the past.

    When activating the Javascript protection option, I’m always getting the “Javascript Schutz” error, when trying to sumbit the form.

    Additionally the reload button for the captcha currently doesn’t work. The Button is generated as:

    <ahref="void(0);" class="cf7 captcha-reload" title="Captcha neu laden">…

    And with this href the Button links to a non-existing page of course

    Hello @stdorsch,

    thank you for reporting the issue.

    We have released a hotfix (version 2.3.2) that resolves the problem related to the reload icon.
    Additionally, we tested the JavaScript Protection feature with Elementor 3.5.5 and were unable to reproduce the issue.

    Could you please enable JavaScript Protection on your end so we can further investigate the behavior in your environment?

    I reactivated the JavaScript Protection, now error is back.

    Thank you for the reload button fix. But it does not reload the captcha though. Just scrolls to the top of the page now.

    After reviewing your page, we noticed that our JavaScript files are not being loaded. This explains why the JavaScript Protection feature is not functioning.
    A check of the network panel confirms that neither our CSS nor JavaScript assets are currently being delivered.

    Please ensure that:

    • All caches have been fully cleared (including server cache, browser cache, and Elementor cache).
    • No optimization or performance plugin is preventing our assets from loading or unloading them dynamically.

    Once this is verified, please let us know so we can proceed with further analysis if necessary.

    You’re right: in die karriere/ Page all the f12-cf7-… assets/includes are missing.

    But in our /kontakt page the f12-cf7 assets were included correctly. (and the form is working correctly here)

    The difference between the two pages is that the form in the /kontakt page was integrated in Elementor in the page directly.
    In the /karriere page the form is integrated as an elementor template. So maybe WordPress or Elementor assumes that here is no form present and therefore the f12-cf7 assets were not included?

    We also have a dynamic contact form (with silent shield captcha) on our start page (speed4trade.com) that can be reached by pressing the “Kontakt” button at the bottom.

    I this page the f12-cf7 assets are not being loaded. We did not change anything in our form content in the last weeks. So, why is the Silentshield plugin included only in pages with elementor forms directly present? Was there a change within elementor or the f12-cf7 plugin that causes that?

    We currently had to deactivate the Javascript and Captcha protection to ensure our contact forms are working again.

    Hello @stdorsch,

    Please update the plugin to the latest version first. The required settings are available after the update.

    Once updated, open the plugin settings and navigate to the Extended tab.

    There, you can either enable “Autoload assets everywhere” or add the affected pages to the performance tuning textarea.

    On your site, a compatibility issue is preventing our plugin from correctly detecting the Elementor forms, which stops the CAPTCHA assets from loading.

    After updating and adjusting the settings, the issue should be resolved.

    With the new version (and the activated asset option) it’s working fine now.
