When it comes specifically to our plugin, we have the following recommendations that can help when fighting spam registrations:
First of all, please make sure you have Profile Builder up to date. The latest version is: Profile Builder version 3.13.6.
Now when it comes to spam registrations, with Profile Builder you have access to reCaptcha field that should help you reduce spam.
Note: For our reCAPTCHA field, you can try using the V3 implementation since this is the newest one which is invisible (doesn’t require user action) + it should be more secure than the other implementations. You can read more about this here.
Other than this, you will need to make sure that you don’t have any other registration forms active on your site. For example, other registration forms created with different plugins.
