getting started

I have been reading and reading this but I am computer literate. There are so many terms and things that I just can’t comprehend. Besides that, my computer don’t have a program that will allow me to open any of the folders or programs for wp. I downloaded the theme Mystic. Is there any one out there that can help take me by the hand and guide me though the process. I have always been a ‘on hands learner’. Someone can tell me what to do as long as it is a one, two, three, process. I’m sure that once I get the hand of it I will be ok but I am sometimes a little slow. CAD seems easy to me compared to this. Other than that I get mind fumbled trying to remember everything. I hope someone can help me.
