Getting started with eHive

Having problems getting started with these plugins.

• I have an ehive account, api keys and set data to be accessed by 3rd parties.
• Have installed ehive access first, filled in api keys.
• Created page called account
• Installed ehive Account plugin.
• Added shortcode to show my account details on the newly created account page.
• Downloaded ehive search, objects gallery widget, widget search, objects image grid

My pages show no return information – not even my account details set up on account page with shortcode inserted.
Have tried with other public accounts with no success.
Running on localhost so no url.
WAMP setup working fine.

When I check the API error notification in settings I get ‘Some content on ehive is currently unavailable please try again later.’ on the ehive enabled pages.

What am I doing wrong, it must be basic?
