    The plugin has come along way from the stand alone BBPress days.

    Unfortunately many of the strides made back then, over years of effort, all had to be scrapped, and so a lot of stuff considered standard in most forums software isn’t yet included. But here’s to a bright future!

    Scraping your own previous years of effort because this plug-in is not developed to accommodate it? This is making no sense. I think this developer is so irresponsible. A smooth upgrade is the backbone to any software, more so for a forum.

    I can certainly appreciate you thinking that way Bukers…it definitely puts a ton of weight on those of us who put all the time in with BBPress the original stand alone. I guess that’s what happens sometimes with free software though…

    Imagine if WordPress itself did that!

    BBPress is owned by Automatic though, so that’s a consideration.
