Getting username/password prompt when loading the install.php

    I am entirely new to this, and have installed mySQL and PHP both seem to be working.

    When I installed WordPress, then navigate to the wp-admin/install.php it pops up with a username/password prompt…I have searched ENDLESSLY for anybody that had similar problems.

    Any idea where to start troubleshooting?
