All of your actual written content is stored in the database. Without a copy of the database, you will probably need to start fresh. You may be able to recover some of your content by using Google cache as a viewing tool, but copy-paste is probably the best you can hope for.
Pop this into the google search bar and then select the “Cached” link at the end of the url’s to see what still might be around.

That might help you recover at least some of it. As far as the appearance, you should be able to just select and re-activate the pagelines “station” theme from your dashboard under Appearance > Themes settings.

Okay…I was able to save a copy of the cached blog which has my original layout. I saved it in Firefox by going File>Save Page As…
I went ahead and activated the “station” theme in WP dashboard. Is there a way to transfer the cached page to WP somehow? What I’m really concerned with is getting the layout back to the original…I can live with not having all my previous blogs, but I spent a lot of time on the layout of the blog.
Is there a way to copy the code from the cached page or some other way to get the previous layout back (using the saved cached page)?

Any mods made to the theme files themselves will be fine, but because the station theme stores user selectable modifications from it’s options pages in the database, I’m afraid those settings are all lost as well. In a twist of unfortunate irony, at the bottom of the themes settings pages is this:
[Backup Option Informtion] To be sure you don’t lose your option information, make sure to save a copy in your DB from time to time.
[Restore From Backup] If you’d like to restore the options from your latest backup, use this button.
Once you are back up and running, it would be good practice to schedule regular database backups as well as maybe making a backup copy of the Station theme settings to store in your database.
