We appreciate you reporting this issue. Your understanding of how the checkout process should work is accurate. After inputting the gift card number and the associated PIN, the end user would click “apply” and proceed to “place order” to process their purchase using a gift card. However, upon testing this internally, we are able to see that an error message is populating. Please know that this issue has been escalated internally for review and implementation of a fix. We appreciate your patience while we looked into this matter. Please be aware that a fix was released earlier today and is available via the Heartland github repo. We are in the process of updating our plugin via the WordPress Marketplace to be in sync with our code repo and will update that in short order but in the meantime we wanted to get this into your hands as quickly as possible. We request that you proceed with updating your website as time allows. Please advise of the outcome once you’ve had an opportunity to implement.
