• Hello,

I am running WordPress 4.7 with the Purpose Theme activated. The Give plugin seems to be causing an issue when I try to put an image in a post. I click on the add media button, and nothing happens. If I dissable the Give plugin, the functionality is good again. Is there a fix for this?

    Thanks

    Hi there,

Most likely this isn’t a Give bug, but a combination of Give with another plugin. Here’s what I’d suggest:

    1) Disable ALL plugins except Give. It should behave correctly at this point. If it doesn’t then it’s a theme issue. Provide me with a link to where I can download the theme and I’ll test that out for a workaround solution.

    2) If it behaves correctly with all plugins disabled except Give, re-activate each plugin one by one, testing the behavior each time until you find the problem again. Then tell me which plugin triggered the problem and I’ll investigate that.

    Thanks!

I have deactivated everything else and still seem to have the issue. Also, when I deactivated Give (And Stripe add on) I got the “White screen of Death” and then deleted to plug ins from my file manager and re-installed them. I tried again, and with only Give activated, I was unable to add media to a post.

I have had this theme installed for over a year, so I will need to do some digging to find out where I downloaded it. Again, it is called purpose. I will let you know as soon as possible where I got it.

    Thanks
