I have configured all the plugin settings, including the Application ID, App Secret, and Mailbox ID. I also added the shortcode [hsd_form] inside a page. However, when I enter the subject, message, and upload an image, the form submission fails, displaying the following error message:

    “Failed Submission”
    URL: https://example.com/customer-support/?submission_error=Failed+Submission

Additionally, the browser console shows a 400 AJAX error.

Can anyone help me troubleshoot this issue? Looking for a quick response.

But I am using the free plugin. I have used the [hsd_form] shortcode inside a page, as shown here: Screenshot. I want to send the form submission to Help Scout. Is it possible using the free plugin?

    Hello @protik05,

I apologize for the confusion. I mentioned that because you brought up hsd_form, however, both the hsd_form and [helpscout_desk] shortcodes are part of the Pro version of the plugin. They won’t work without the Pro version installed and active.

In the free version, the only available form submission option is the Beacon, which is the feature included with the free plan.

If you need help setting up the Beacon or want more details about the Pro version, feel free to let me know!

    Thanks
    Elana.
