    Hi,

    Is there a way to set global settings that related products are related by product category?

    Setting the individual product to use categories for related products works really well – but I have thousands of products and I don’t want to have to manually update each products settings for related products.

    Also if I set “Disable Woocommerce Default Related Products” to on, then all products I haven’t individually set the related product settings do not have any related products displayed – surely they should still display related products – maybe by category if that was a global setting?

    Help would be appreciated.

    Hi @getseod,

    Currently, the option to set related products is via associating with products only. We will add your feedback to the backlogs for future considerations.

    Once you disable the default woocommerce related products, you must set related products via our plugin itself for all products for them to show up in the page.
