gmail alias going directly to sent folder
-
I am using Post SMTP to process my gmail in my forms (Green Forms). When I send an email from one of my alias directly to my main account, it goes directly to me sent folder instead of my inbox.
My main account: john@
john@ Alias: info@Use example: we have a form which people fill out. Two emails are then processed, both from the alias info@. The first sends the person filling the form a confirmation, which works as expected. The second, sends several internal people the data from the filled out form. That also works as expected, with the exception of the one going to me (john@), which go directly to me sent folder instead of my inbox.
The Post SMTP Test processes just find it I send a test to any email address BUT directly to myself, john@. When I send it to myself, it comes from info@ and goes directly to my john@ sent folder (I never receive an unread email).
I tried to go through your Gmail Alias setup (https://postmansmtp.com/how-to-send-email-from-alias-domain-with-gsuite-google-apps/), but it looks like old information (and pic links appear broke) and I cannot find #7 “I recommend leaving the option marked as “two” selected.” anywhere.
While I realize this very well my be a Google issue, I am not positive I have the Alias/API setup correctly to work with Post SMTP. Any direction or advice would be highly appreciated.
