Gmail API transport encrypted?

    Our site is hosted on Godaddy and we had been using their relay mail server until it gave us trouble today.

    We use Contact Form 7 with Postman SMTP on https pages. When I setup Postman SMTP to use the gmail API; is this considered an encrypted email from point A to B?
