  • Hi @frankiht,

    Thanks for reaching out.

Please kindly bear in mind that this error (redirect_uri_mismatch) is coming from Google. It occurs when the redirect URI specified in the application’s configuration does not match the redirect URI provided during the authorization request. So, it is a security restriction from Google.

To troubleshoot this, I would recommend you open Gmail.com on your browser and sign out of any account that the browser defaults to. Then try connecting again and log in to the same account which you used to create your Google app (client secret and client id)

If you still face the same issue after this, then please try configuring the Google / Gmail mailer again by following this step-by-step tutorial once more:

    https://wpmailsmtp.com/docs/how-to-set-up-the-gmail-mailer-in-wp-mail-smtp/.

If you would prefer, here is a step-by-step video to follow: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m7wd016ARSU.

In case you’d like to check out our other mailers, you can see the complete list here: https://wpmailsmtp.com/docs/a-complete-guide-to-wp-mail-smtp-mailers/

    I hope this helps!

    Thanks 🙂
