• Yoast has for several years been helping me a lot to improve my posts, and I always tried to the get a green light before publishing a post. However, as I am using a page builder called Divi, Yoast has continually been disappointing me. It seems to lack support for pages and posts created with the Divi theme.

For the most part I use the WP editor for my posts and Divi for pages, but still, this is a disappointment. Yoast tells me that there is no content on my pages, no external links and so on. Which of course is not true.

I believe this has grown worse after the major upgrade from Divi 4 to Divi 5.

So, when will Yoast be able to support Divi users or will I have to search for other SEO plugins?

    Hi @sandalsand

Thanks for sharing your review. It’s always been a talking point with regards to the content analysis of Yoast SEO being compatible with different page builders and custom theme content editors. We are compatible with the default WordPress block and classic editor, as well as having a full integration with Elementor, but the content analysis may not be 100% accurate when using Divi and other page builders. A while back, we tried to parse shortcodes and other plugins’ content, but the outcome was a broken SEO plugin on a large number of sites. We reverted the changes and added a process for developers to parse their own content and push it into our content analysis in order to improve compatibility.

Thanks for replying, and for supplying links. However, that doesn’t really answer my question.
