This is a good theme to use as a base and allows for custom css without adding a stylesheet.

It’s definitely lite on the builder bloat which is good as the last theme which was on the website was a combination of Fusion and Avada giving over 150 http requests for files plus all the bloat in the editor. This is a lot less with this theme and overall seems speedy.

The UI/UX could improve with some hover titles/info panels until you get used to using it (i.e. make it toggle-able once got to grips with how it works)

    Cheers

    Kev

Hey Kev, thanks so much for the detailed feedback! We really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with the theme.

It’s great to hear that you’re finding it to be a speedy, bloat-free base for your projects and that you’re taking advantage of the custom CSS options.

Your suggestion about improving the UI/UX with hover titles and info panels is excellent. It’s a great idea to help new users get up to speed, and we’ll definitely take that into consideration as we continue to improve the theme.

Thanks again for the thoughtful review. We’re glad we could provide a theme that’s a good fit for your needs.

    Hi rodicaelena 🙂

You have gained half a star 😉 the star picker does not allow half stars (can’t give you a whole other star otherwise you won’t strive for more heheh 😉 )

The difference on a light house score for example is going from an overall 78% to 100% (or will be once I’ve sorted the links out).

Not only that but currently sitting at 56 http requests where previously due to the site having both Fusion and Avada builders (now removed) was sitting at approx 150+ http requests and huge loading times on mobile.

Obviously there are some things needing to be sorted out. For example the wp-element-caption class has an opacity 0.6 and no font weight set – this fails accessibility contrast and a simple change to font-weight:600 and opacity to 0.8 passes the AA.

Keep up the good work 🙂
