Google 2FA puts the plugin into a loop

When using Google with 2FA enabled (in my case Google Prompt), it makes WordPress Social Login enter a loop in which the created account is never “finished”, that is WordPress Social Login will always display the window asking the user if he/she wants to link his/her existing profile or create a new one. The account is still created inside WordPress, but that confirmation window will always appear whenever the user logs in.

Steps to reproduce :

– Sign up using your Google Account
– Sign in Gooogle Account and authorize access thanks to Google Prompt
– WordPress asks if it’s a new account or if he/she wants to merge an existing account
– User is logged in
– Log out

Then:

– Log in using Google Account and authorize access thanks to Google Prompt
– WordPress asks if it’s a new account or if he/she wants to merge an existing account
– User is logged in
– etc…
