Google Ads Doesn’t Track Conversions

    Hi,

    Thank you for the plugin.

    I created a purchase conversion on Google Ads, copied and pasted Conversion ID and Conversion Label. Got a few purchases after setting up but none showed up on Google ads dashboard.

    What am I missing?

    Hi @overdriver,

    Could you confirm that you’ve followed each step of this tutorial? See – https://sweetcode.com/docs/wpm/plugin-configuration/google-ads.

    If so, then this can be caused by different factors.

    1. It’s possible that the purchases on your site didn’t come from an Ad Click. That’s why it was not reported as a conversion in Google Ads.

    2. You have a cookie banner installed on your site. When users don’t allow cookies to be tracked, the conversion event nor the pixel will not be triggered. Hence, the conversion data will not be sent to Google Ads.

    If none of these factors are true, we’d like to check your site further. Could you send your debug information to [email protected]?
