that’s really weird ’cause the plugin was perfectly working untill we updated the Hueman Theme.
And we are using the same plugin on 5 other different websites and it work perfectly despite every single website runs WordPress 4.7
To me it looks like the new theme update has a different code which makes the plugin impossible to place ads boxes…
What do you guys think?

You can manually place the advertisement code in a text widget.
The user in the following thread did that successfully and with some custom css.
