Google Analytics and redirect

Hi,
is there a way to keep the Google Analytics for the pages with the redirection?
Since I couldn’t find a good solution for banner management, I have made some alterations to the theme. My idea was to link a banner to the page and to redirect the page to the final URL. This way I could track clicks, and have many useful demographic data that GA provides.
But, now I realized that GA is not tracking those pages, probably because the redirectin script is done before the GA script.
Is there a way to solve this?
