Google Analytics for dummies ;-)

Hi Jeroen,

Did you already sign up here http://www.google.com/analytics ?
If “yes” than login at your account here http://www.google.com/analytics and add your word press blog URL (when you login you can see this text “Add New Account” at your Google account and click on that it will ask “Sign Up for Google Analytics” click on that button and than register

After that google will give you JavaScript to add on your home page copy that script on your homepage as per given instruction at Google page and verify you had installed correctly for more info see here https://www.google.com/support/googleanalytics/bin/answer.py?answer=55549&hl=en_US&utm_id=ad

Normally you put the code in the footer.php just before the `</body> tag. If you don’t have access to that file???????
