So, I have a problem with my plugin. After migrating to Cloudways and using Cloudflare DNS, I stopped getting page views. This feature just doesn’t work. I see total clicks, total impressions, and but 0 users. Google Analytics doesn’t work as well. Monster insights as well. I tried adding gtag, still nothing.0 users.
It happened on the 6th May. After that migration everything stopped working.
But, on 9th May I got 1 user recorded. But I did so many things, deleted plugins, changed stuff and I am not sure what I did that managed to get 1 user recorded. Anyways, I am feeling hopeless.
    Thank you in advance!
    Yaron.

    Hi there @yaronshapira,

I’ve checked your site manually and also using the tagassistant.google.com service. From the checks performed I can see your Analytics tag is tracking visits as expected.

While we’re limited to Site Kit related queries here in the support forums, and not inconsistent Analytics tracking related queries, can you share what you see when you visit the Google Analytics real time report and then visit your site while not logged in?

Note also that there may be something at Cloudflare level or with your installed third party plugins impacting reporting. For example I can see a “defer” attribute added to your Google Analytics tag, with the snippet on your site not appearing as a standard Google Analytics snippet placed via Site Kit.

Let me know how you get on with your real time reporting check anyway. You may also wish to post a question with the Google Analytics Help Center, where the product experts may be able to check any aspect of your site that may be resulting in unusual tracking patterns.

Something weird happened. I actually see 1 users in the last 30 minutes. And I see the page view. That’s so weird, I’ve tried to numerous times, and it didn’t work.
So I guess I will leave it like that? Let’s see if it goes into the actual report snapshot. But I think it will, because yesterday, I didn’t even see myself as a user in the last 30 minutes.
Yes, it works, going through multiple articles and seeing them pop up on Views by Page title and screen name. Thank you very much! I was struggling with it the whole week.
I will update tomorrow and I will see if something changes!

Glad to hear it, many thanks for the update.

As you’re using Cloudflare and you have various optimizations performed, including the defer attribute on the Analytics snippet I can’t be sure what was occurring. It’s possible any unusual behavior could continue to occur given that it sounds like you didn’t make any changes since reporting.

I will update tomorrow and I will see if something changes!

Please do! I’ll keep this support topic open until then.

Works great! Thank you for the support. I will be careful from now on with the plugins and anything I do with the site. So the moment I notice something is wrong, I will know what is the cause. Thank you again and have a great weekend!
