Because you still need to connect to the Google Analytics API (e.g. google-analytics.com/collect/) to send data to Google Analytics 🙂
Are you using compatibility mode, by any chance? I just found out that CAOS still adds the preconnect even when Compatibilty Mode is enabled, which doesn’t make any sense, because the other plugin will/should do that, too.
I’ll release a fix for that soon!
Hello!
I`m not sure if it’s related, but despite having the Pro version that enables the extended features. I also get the following warning in the browser developer tool, as well as not logging the events in Google Analytics.
Failed to load resource: net::ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT (ublock extensión on Brave browser)
https://www.google-analytics.com/g/collect?v=2&tid=G-XXXXXXXXXX&_p=884258048&sr….
CAOS’ setup
– Basic Settings
Service Provider: Google Analytics
Allow tracking: Always (default)
Tracking Code: Minimal analytics (GA4-beta)
Tacking code position: Header (default)
– Advanced Settings
Compatibility mode: Unchecked
Download file: Gtag.js (v4 API-Beta)
Extensions
Sealth mode (Pro): Checked
Request handling (Pro): Fast (Super Stealh API)

Please can you guide me in the solution?
