I have been using WP Google Analytics Events for months with no problems. The plugin is simple and efficient.

At the beggining of June, I made a major update at my website http://www.paraviagem.com.br. I updated the wordpress and some plugins. Nothing new was installed.

In first look, everything was fine, so I sent everything to my production server. But today, looking Google Analytics more closely, I realised that something was wrong. After that date, all events stoped to be tracking.

I read some support tickets about this issue but I don’t found my problem.

Here is some plugins running at my blog that could be relevant: Autoptimize, Yoast SEO, W3 Total Cache

I really appreciate your work and your support. Hope you could help me with that.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi tygonx,

For some reason, the plugin code is not loaded. Did you disable after opening the ticket or is this an indication to the actual problem?

    Hi yuvalo.
    Thanks for your time.
No, I did not disabled it. But to see the plugin code you will need to look into the optimized JS code.
http://static.paraviagem.com.br/js/autoptimize_bb48b18c525e38e47cba9dada818dfdf.js (the name could change because it is cached, but you could find it on the bottom of the HTML code)
I’m using a plugin (Autoptimize) to compile e optimize all JS in the page.
Before the update, I already work with this plugin without any problem.
Hope you could find where is the actual problem.

    hi guys;
i’m autoptimizes developer. fyi, you can disable AO on a per-request basis by adding ?ao_noptimize=1 to the URL.

    have fun,

Thanks Frank, this is really helpful.

tygnox, have you tried using the Universal tracking code?

    (@tygonx)

Hey Frank, good to know about it. Thanks!

yuvalo, I didn’t tried to use Google Analytics Universal code because I have a lot of hard coded outgoing tracking.

I hope to find a solution using the old version of GA code, but if it was not possible, I could start to update all my outgoing tracking to work with Universal GA code.

Well, maybe I can make a test with Universal code just to see if works.

I changed GA code to Universal, made all necessary changes and it works.

If you want to look deeper to find if the plugin code has any issue, I can change it back.

For me, start to use GA Universal is something I already have to do anyway, so this change solve my problem.

I will update my outgoing track structure, but let me know if you want to look it again.

    Thanks one more time, yuvalo.
