Is it possible to store Google Analytics view counts in a field so that posts could be sorted by their view count?

I am not sure when I see posts sorted on websites, by popularity, which field do they actually use? Like count? View count? Etc…

Would I be right to make the assumption as this is the Developing Forum, you are comfortable to code a solution?

If you can’t code (and bringing in stats from Google is going to be some fun coding), look at plugins. For example, https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wordpress-popular-posts/ and https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/search/popular+posts/
