    Which of the 17 Google Map APIs need to be enabled with the API key for the map and the “Locations” search to work properly?

    @radialyr
    you need the geocoding API enabled
    But we have some more enabled in our setup
    Places
    Maps Javascript
    Maps Static
    Diections
    Distance
    Geolocation

    Thank you.
    Would the Geocoding API without Maps Javascript and Maps Static work, or are either of those required as well?

    the docs just say you need to enable the geocoding api.
    Give it a try, if it does not work, enable the javascript API as well and so on
