Google API Error: Insufficient Permission

For some reason, I can’t connect my analytics account to my website. I just receive these error messages:

Google API Error: Insufficient Permission

You don’t have any Google Analytics profile connected to your account.

I have checked and double-checked, I’m logged in to my Google Analytics account, but for some reason, it won’t pull the sites into your plugin. 🙁

I’m very sorry to hear that you’ve experienced this issue!

Please check whether your Analytics profiles are set as Universal (the v4 API isn’t stable yet): https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/beehive/#create-account-and-property

Also, please double check the setup by following this guide: https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/beehive/#quick-setup

Hoping it’s just a skipped setting somewhere and once done it will work fine for you! 🙂

Thank you for the information.

Could you try to add the domain in different analytics enabling the UA and see if makes any difference? The reported issue is usually related to the UA missing as @wpmudev-support9 reported.

Another connection method is using the API https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/beehive/#set-up-api-project but it also requires the UA enabled on that domain in GA.

The problem is that no domains are showing at all, even though they show using other analytics plugins. I just keep getting Google API Error: Insufficient Permission errors. All domains have UA enabled.

Could you try a plugin conflict test?

Please, make a Full Backup or Staging website https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wp-staging/ and take a Full plugin conflict test following this guide: https://wpmudev.com/docs/getting-started/getting-support/#plugin-conflict
