  • same problem, but i cannot ensure that i correctly set up API key. so i subscribe this post.

    thnx and good luck.

    If you’re sure Google Maps is configured correctly, it’s possible this conflict caused by your theme or another plugin. To check if it is, can you test with all other plugins deactivated and while running the default WordPress theme?

    thank you caimin, but no success.

    At this moment I tried it with the 2015-theme and without any plugin (besides EM of course): map not available.

    My favourite theme is one of the responsive & professionel themes of elmastudio.de (Dorayaki).

    And I want to use about 6 well known plugins (contactform7, jetpack, wp-members, responsive slider, widgets on pages) – at other installations with the same plugins were no problems.

    I´m not 100% sure with my API-adjustments, but they seems to be right.

    Have you another solution?

    Have you tried removing the domain name / referrer in Google Maps API?

    yes, I believe so… but I will try it again.

    no, sorry, no success.

    same issue like before. without referrer and now i am sure, that i setted up API key correctly. It is a relaunch – old site (older than june16) is working fine (API key is not needed) – new site (same domain) has this issue.

    hope it helps.

    @caimin_nwl:
    i tried it now with another plugin (only for tests!! ;-)) with generated API key – it works. so it could be a bug in your version?

    Do maps work in Events Manager if you deactivate the other plugin that uses Google Maps?

    no, other Plugins were disabled. it was only a test for the right key.

    Have you tried with different addresses? Specifically, ones without the ß character? I have a feeling another German-speakig user reported an issue with that character before.

    yes! you are right! if adress field has a word like Straße it doesnt work. otherwise i can see a map! cool! 🙂

    now it works!

    @schelm:

    workaround: go into the Location, klick into a field like adress. change a character and press tab. now a map will rised up! 🙂

    @caimin_nwl:
    thank you for support!
