• Hi,

I have two plugins installed that deal with caching CSS and JS files, WPFC and Asset Cleanup. The latter is to help me dequeue unnecessary files from pages.

The problem is that I’m constantly getting errors in Google Search Console whenever Google Bot recrawls one of my pages because it gets served CSS files that don’t exist anymore, resulting in “clickable elements too close together” and “content wider than screen” errors.

I set up a Timeout rule in WPFC to All and to 15 days and I set the same period in Asset Cleanup, so it leaves any CSS/JS files for 15 days after a change has been made.

However, I’m not sure if this will sort out the problem. Basically the problem is that WPFC still caches files that have already been replaced by Asset Cleanup. Is there a way to get around this?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
