Google Chart in Tabbed Container

Having a problem displaying Google Charts in tabbed container on my wordpress site. When the page is loaded, the size of the column chart is how I want it (regardless of which tab you are initially on). When you then move to the other tab (initially hidden) the column chart’s sizing become very tiny. If you reload the page with the tiny column chart sizing, the chart will become full sized.

I found a person with a similar problem on stack overflow but unsure how to use this to fix my issue.
