@beneventorocco – Do you have a link? PM currently runs 2 queries on page load, and its JavaScript only runs after the page finishes loading, so based on that I would say though it happens when PM is active the issue may not be in PM, but rather triggered by it. I say this because we have so many users this wouldn’t be the only report of such a behavior.
Happy to take a look if you have a link though and help troubleshoot.
Hi
thank you so much for your reply, I have identified the source of the problem and I solved it.
I’ll explain it to you, so it can be useful for future complaints.
The error Loading of the page was generated by js, because I was using in a popup the shortcode that recalled the mp4 videos, this caused some loading problems only with Chrome.
I tried to replace the shortcode directly entering the tag HTML5 <video> </ video> but the problem persisted.
So I opted to place the video through an <iframe> (inserting inside the <video> tag), so it all works correctly even on Chrome.
I do not know if the conflict was caused by the plugin + video tags + theme or if the triggers were only plugin + video tag, I have not run additional tests to understand it.
If you want you can check.
Thanks again for your availability.
Congratulations for your work. 😉
@beneventorocco – Awesome glad you got it worked out. Appreciate the info. I will add also that we have a new video extension in testing that works with html5, youtube & vimeo videos out of the box with custom players, settings to control the video when the popup opens etc.
It is getting documentation at the moment but will likely be released later this month. May be of interest to you.
