Hi @michih,
Consent Mode V2 is supported from version 7.0.5 and upwards of the Premium plugin, but it is not part of the Free plugin as available on ww.wp.xz.cn.
Kind regards, Jarno
Thanks Jarno – where can I find the changelog of the premium version?
Hi @michih,
You will find the changelog for the Premium plugin in the readme.txt file, included in any Premium release of the plugin.
Note that we may only discuss the Free plugin on these forums, so if you have further questions about Complianz Premium, please submit a support ticket via complianz.io/support/.
Kind regards, Jarno
Well I know – just wanted to know if version 7.0.5 is a planned release or already published/available right now.
Hi @michih,
I see, rest assured that the 7.0.5 version of Complianz Premium is already available at the moment.
Kind regards, Jarno
Will consent mode v2 also be available in the free version of Complianz? If not, the free version will be worthless for anyone with Google Analytics and/or Google Ads….
Hey there,
can anyone of the complianz support answer prools question. Because he’s absolutely right. As with the beginning of march google consent v2 is mandatory
Hi @prool, @peautum,
Google Consent Mode V2 support is part of the Premium plugin, as mentioned in my initial post in this thread. There are currently no plans to include this in the Free plugin.
Kind regards, Jarno
It’s disappointing that V2 support will not be included in the Free version. This is essentially forcing people to pay for something that they have no choice but to comply with. Whilst I get the business case, it seems very shortsighted and renders the plugin useless for anyone using a Google product.
Hi @grombleton,
While I understand where you’re coming from, I would just like to add that Consent Mode support has been a Premium feature in the Complianz plugin even before Consent Mode V2, and the requirement from Google to implement it, had been introduced.
I hope this somewhat helps to clarify, but let me know if you have any further questions about this.
Kind regards, Jarno
Hi @jarnovos, is it even possible to implement this manually with the free version?
