Google dont show frontpage

    Hello,
    recently I updated my WordPress site to newest version (5.5.1) and “Yoast SEO” plugin to newest version (15.0). After some time I saw that google does not show my frontpage in google search. Other pages are shown. How can I fix that? I didnt make any changes after update.

    Hi @keptuve,

    Thank you for reaching out.

    We understand that you don’t see your homepage in the Google results.

    We had a look at the homepage you’ve linked, but the page does not have a noindex meta tag and does not seem to be blocked for getting indexed in your robots.txt file either. Your homepage is also included in your page-sitemap.xml. We also checked the canonical URL on the homepage which is correct.

    Having said all of this, we don’t see any reason why the page wouldn’t be able to get indexed by Google. We would encourage you to submit your sitemap to Google Search Console and see if Google shows any errors after a couple of days regarding the indexing of your site.

    As an update, we just checked if your homepage is indexed now, it turns out it is.
