Google Drive Error after update

After upgrading from Updraft Plus 1.8.8 from 1.8.5 I get an error message on the WP Admin Dashboard that says “UpdraftPlus notice: Click here to authenticate your Google Drive account (you will not be able to back up to Google Drive without it).”
NOTHING has changed, I just clicked on the “Update Now” option in my list of WP plugins. Everything was working fine, even had 2 backups created and moved out to my Google Drive account. After the update, I had to Activate the product and that is when the error started popping up. I rebooted my local laptop and tried again – same error.
How do I get this plugin to start storing backups on my Google Drive again? Again, nothing has changed, except the upgrade to UpdraftPlus 1.8.8
The latest instructions I have read do not cover the new Google Developers section, do you also have an updated manual to follow the process that Google requires you to follow?
