In the settings, next to Google Drive, can you click “Delete these settings” and then setup your Google Drive again?

    Hello and thank you

I did this manipulation but I still get the same message:
Success: You have authenticated your Google Drive account. However, the following access attempts failed:

    Forbidden for https://auth.updraftplus.com/auth/googledrive (403)

    thank you for you help

A 403 error normally means that access is forbidden. If you have any security plugins, can you try deactivating them?

    I had this message :

Google Drive: You haven’t gotten an access token from Google yet – you need to authorize or reauthorize your connection to Google Drive. (Forbidden for https://auth.updraftplus.com/auth/googledrive) (403)

    What must I do?

    Thank you for your help

    Hi there,

The message is stating you need to reauthorize your Google Drive connection.
There’s a guide linked below which walks you through the process of doing this.

Please make sure you’re signed into your Google account before authenticating.

    hello .
I’ve done what you ask me in the previous post several times and I still have the same problem:

Success: You have authenticated your Google Drive account. However, the following access attempts failed:

    Forbidden for https://auth.updraftplus.com/auth/googledrive (403)

I did this manipulation while disconnecting the antivirus. Always the same message?

Thank you for your help .

    Hi Bernard,

My apologies, I should have recognized you’ve already tried this previously.
I did some research. Could you check your storage quota is not exceeded?

    Best regards,

    Nick

    Hello

And me ? What should I do to fix my problem? Stop using UpdraftPlus and move to another backup extension?

    Best regards

    Hi Bernard,

One thought occurs. Sometimes Google block users after they flag a file and email them.
Often there’s nothing wrong with the file but if it’s not removed it can result in blocking.

If all your access credentials are correct and no security is blocking this is a possible cause.
Unfortunately there are limitations on what we can do here in terms of investigating this.

There are many posts on the web regarding this problem and we’ve tried common fixes.
Signing in/out of Google may help (it’s suggested) but this does look like a security block.

    Best regards,

    Nick
