Is it possible to use standard fonts instead of the google fonts to improve speed load times.

I’d love an answer as I’d like to change the default font for my install of this theme to one of the Google fonts.

For the record here’s how I fixed it and used a google font for the header title text. In custom CSS I added the following:

@import url(http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Open+Sans);

#site-title {font-family:inherit;}
