Google Fonts

What’s the easiest way to host Google Fonts locally (on the server) for my site? I’ve found a reference but it seems to be a lot of steps and not straightforward – I was thinking there might be an easier way.

The overhead of loading them each time from Google is something I’d like to eliminate.

I have the zip file for the font I’d like to use, what’s the easiest way to plug it in?
