    Sydney Version: 2.06

Tested in: Chrome 101.0.4951.54 (Official Build) (64-bit) (cohort: Stable), Windows 10; Chrome 101.0.4951.61, Android 11 Pixel 3a XL

I’ve recently installed updates to a client site, and it refuses to show selected Google Fonts to end users: only when in the typography menu itself, only after selecting a font is it visible; and then, only in the customize page itself. After navigating away, the only visible font to end-users is the fallback (which, frustratingly, isn’t selectable, it’s just automatic based on the Google Font selected). Is there some specific changes I have to make to 2.06 to properly use the Google Fonts API, possibly somewhere in the header.php? I didn’t find any references to the font stack there. Any additional help for why fonts are only visible during the one step in the typography panel would be a huge help.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi,

I am sorry for the trouble.

I did testing and I can replicate the same issue. I’ll pass this to our development team to investigate further. And the fix for it will be added in the upcoming version of the theme.

Meanwhile, you may want to try other similar font like Satisfy: https://i.snipboard.io/H28oET.jpg.
