Does the Dev Team check this page regularly? Interested in purchasing Pro version, but not if I can’t get this issue resolved for my client.
Is anybody else having problems importing a calendar into google? I tried with a Cell Phone later instead of laptop and it gave me a different error that the Calendar no longer exists.
Update: I believe I’m having a caching issue. The time zone issue fixed it self, but now when I change a event or make a new one they don’t import into google calendar. Will report back after trouble shooting more.

Hi @thomsonkev
Thanks for reaching out.
I tried replicating the steps you provided and when I check the events added to my Google Calendar they are offset by -5 which, I think, is correct.
I can see that the “imported calendar” is using UTC 0, but the events added to the main Google Calendar are offset by -5. I am not sure what the issue is. Could you provide more details on the issue and what you’re trying to achieve?
Hi @d0153 thank you for your response, so as I stated in my last post the time zone issue seemed to have fixed itself, the proper time now shows up after leaving everything alone for a few days.
This led me to believe that I am having a cache problem on my clients server. I had attempted to disable all plugins, CDN, and current theme. That didn’t help.
When I add a new event, or update an event date/time it doesn’t change.
I then installed a clean install of WordPress on a different domain and just installed TheEventsCalendar Plugin and it still won’t sync in a timely manner. I have tried the refresh button on cell phone, and on laptop using chrome in developer mode I tried “Empty cache and hard reload”
To duplicate: Create at least two events, subscribe to calender with Google and it will sync the first time.
Now either add a third event, or change date/time on one of the first events. The google calendar no longer syncs and updates.
You can even remove the google calendar and subscribe again and the old data shows up, not the new data. But if you download the ICS file it shows all the new events properly. I’m baffled and confused at the moment.
Also attempted to go into cPanel and flush Cache and clear and flush browser cache and problem persists.

Hi @thomsonkev
Thanks for your response.
I think it is how Google syncs its calendar. Please note that Google Calendar updates feed information once every 24 hours. So, if you remove and subscribe again to a calendar, then it will still be treated as the same calendar and will update the feed on the next cycle (within 24hrs).
I hope this helps, and please let me know if you have further questions or concerns.
Hi Darian @d0153 thanks for the reply.
So it is good to know that google calendar updates feed in 24hrs, I haven’t seen that posted on the plugins website or knowledgebase. I at first thought it was suppose to sync on a much smaller interval, and be forced if one were to hit refresh.
However, this is day 2 since my last change of my Events Calendar and nothing has happened to my google calendar. This is true for the clients website I host and manage, and the new fresh setup of WordPress I created.
I would like to point out that on the clients website they are using litespeed and quiccloud CDN. I followed the plugins guide here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/litespeed-cache/
While on the fresh install of WordPress for testing purposing I am NOT using LiteSpeed or ANY plugins at the moment.
I would expect the google calendar to have synced up by now.

Hi @thomsonkev
Thanks for your response.
I read some related topics on how often Google synced to a URL-linked calendar, and it seems other experience more than 24 hours.
Could you check again your calendar if it’s now synced? In addition, could you provide your test site’s calendar URL? I’d like to check it further on my end.
