Google .ics import oddity

I’m importing a Google calendar with music events to my calendar at http://www.lkldnow.com/events/. When events begin at 8:00 p.m., they are imported as all-day events. Do you have any suggestions on how I can avoid this?

My default is to begin and end the event at the same time, so all 8 p.m. events both begin and end at 8:00.

My inelegant work-around is to change all the 8 p.m. events to 8:01 in Google Calendars. That prevents them from displaying as all-day events, but I’d prefer a method that accurately shows an 8 p.m. start time.

If you look at the calendar at http://www.lkldnow.com/events/, you’ll see several 8:01 events for this week. I left Saturday’s “Jay Strong at Hookah King” at 8 p.m. so you can see what it looks like when it imports.
