I don’t think there’s been any updates on the plugin that would change this, but my events stopped showing Google Maps. I have the Google API key and the maps were showing just fine before.

Looking at a location page, e.g. https://bellevillenow.ca/mc-locations/signal-brewing-company/, I’m currently able to see your Google Maps. Are you seeing them there?
Weird, Joe. When I added the event then viewed it there was no map. Now it’s fine. I guess you laid your magic hands on it. Thanks.
Hi, Joe. I couldn’t figure out what to start a new topic under so forgive me for adding it here.
I have a new client who has two websites that were in a real mess. The previous designer used a calendar plugin from a developer called Fullworksplugins, but there are issues with it from single site licensing to a lack of features. As you know I’ve been using your plugin for some time now and I wanted to recommend using it to my client. Here is what is needed.
First it’s needed on two sites. The calendar then needs to show the course name and location, preferably in different colours for the locations, including the ability to change the colour when the course is full. Clicking on a course link then takes you to a registration form, which I will design using JotForm, as I have done with other sites. The form will include being able to pay using PayPal.
Most unfortunately the previous designer left the calendar blank so my client is losing a lot of money so this is rather urgent.
Appreciate your help, as always.Follow up questions. The colour changes I made to the calendar did not work although I saved them. ??
I also used colours on the categories but they also are not showing on the events.
Looking at the site, it doesn’t seem like any of the My Calendar custom CSS variables are present; that will prevent any of the color changes from being visible. I can see that you’re using a plugin that does a lot of script and CSS customizations for speed, NitroPack, so it’s possible that has something to do with it.
Thanks, Joe, but I only installed the NitroPack yesterday. The colours weren’t showing up before that.
Joe, I added all the categories to my events but none of them are showing up in the colours for them. ??
I can see the colors; they’re in the category key, and also showing up on the events. However, every event appears to be in multiple categories. My Calendar only shows one color for each event, depending on which category is primary. It looks like all of your events have ‘General’ as a primary category and a secondary category.
Thanks, Joe. I didn’t see that General is selected for every event. I removed it and everything looks fine now.
I might add that another client and I have been going nuts with a plugin called Quick Events from FullWorksPlugins. Numerous emails back and forth asking if the plugin can link to the Registration Form that I created but no answers. He has two sites that both used the plugin but I convinced him to use yours on one of them and it’s working just fine.
I’m also still hoping that for yet another client that we can figure out a way to sell tickets for his events that I also use your plugin on.Cheers!
