After you click “OK” it still shows the directions on Google Maps? What is the exact address where this happens?

Yes, after you click “Ok” on error pop-up, it does show the directions, but it should not have the error (agree?) – not good for user experience.
Here is the example when it happens (click direction on one of my stores “Directions”):
https://www.google.com/maps?saddr=477-545+7th+Street,+Brooklyn,+NY+11215,+USA&daddr=1598+Flatbush+Ave,+Brooklyn,+,+United+States
-> on iPhone (Safari browser), it goes to another window and pop-up error says:
“Cannot Open Page – Safari cannot open the page because the address is invalid”
—> click “Ok” -> shows the directions fine
* Note that on desktop it works fine.
Let me know if you can find a solution.
Thanks

Thanks, Tijmen. Makes sense to find a solution as many use iphone / safari and don’t have a google app.
let me know if you can come up with a fix.
thanks
If you install the Google Maps app it does work fine for you?

Yes, it works — but only tested it on iPhone 5 with google map app.
Has there been any updates in regards to this problem. I’m getting the same issue as well and cannot find a solution for this.
I’m not able to find a solution for it as well.
I only find other threads about it on Stack Overflow with other users complaining about the same issue, but no solutions.
They do mention that it only happens when the Google Maps app isn’t installed in iOS, but that would be very buggy behavior since the map url itself is perfectly valid. I assume you don’t have the map installed?
Maybe ask on the Apple support form about it?
