Can you share a link, so I can see the error in context?
I am also having this problem, although it just appears as a blank block. My Calendar Version 2.4.21 on WordPress 4.5.3 with a Cherryframework 4.0 theme. Although I’ve used this plugin on other sites and as soon as I updated the plugin, the Google Map stopped working and showed the Javascript error.
Site is still in production, so I can’t post the URL publicly.
You can submit a support request to provide me with a URL I can view privately, but I can’t look into this with any detail without an example. My own test sites are working with Google Maps, but there could absolutely be something else I need to address.
It seems Google has change their policy and any NEW projects that uses Google Maps since June 22nd, now requires an API Key. See: http://googlegeodevelopers.blogspot.ca/2016/06/building-for-scale-updates-to-google.html
I’m using your plugin on a Website that was created months ago and it still works. I just created a new website a few days ago and it doesn’t work.
I got a similar issue from another plugin that uses Google Maps API. The other plugin I use had an update last week, where we can now set the Google API Key in the Settings section. I’m not sure if My Calendar has such field we can set, at least I didn’t find it.

Oh, what fun. Yes, there’s nowhere to enter a Google Maps API key in My Calendar; I’ll have to add that, now that they’ve made this policy change. Thanks for following up with that information.
HI! Do you have an workaround where i can insert the api key in the code?
Because the hole wordpress installation ist not abel to display googlemaps because always it gets the Missing Key error.
Only when i disable the plugin it is possible show up goggle maps by other plugins…

If you want to install the development version, the API key is a new setting in that version. I’m having to rush 2.5 to release due to the recent Google Maps API changes, so it will probably be released fairly soon.
