• What would be awsome is if I would paste a google maps iframe in the html editor of wordpress, that it would show that iframe on my site.

And that the code would not disappear each time I use the visual editor.

For now, the code gets mangled, and in the end, there is no way to visualize the google map. I´m using a screendump now, which sort of takes the fun out of it.

    Thanks

Old topic – been discussed to death. It’s part & parcel of the TinyMCE Editor, I’m afraid and I don’t see its default behaviour changing any time soon.

    Thanks for the reply.
So its the editor, perhaps i will just get a different editor then.
Are you guys generally happy with TinyMCe otherwise? There’s gotta be a good reason for WP to standardly bundle it.

It’s the best of what’s available. You could use the HTML (non GUI) editor, or a plugin with Short codes.
