Can you please confirm this is the Maps plugin you are using?
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wp-google-map-plugin/
I’m unable to replicate the issue with it. Since Hummingbird is currently deactivated in your site, I can’t test these query parameters right now, so please try reactivating Hummingbird again, with Asset Optimization enabled, check if the issue happens again, and then try loading your page using these query parameters:
https://unitedplantsavers.org/herbal-business-members/?avoid-minify=true to disable Asset Optimization.
https://unitedplantsavers.org/herbal-business-members/?avoid-delayjs=true to disable JavaScript delay.
This in order to identify the component that’s causing this. If it’s Asset Optimization, clear the cache of your site, then go to Hummingbird -> Asset Optimization, and click on the “Re-Check Files” in order to generate new assets, then check if that fixed the issue. Otherwise please let us know.
Kind regards,
jair.
I believe what we have is the PRO version of that plugin, so yes.
This one does have the map show up:

I just tried clearing asset cache and rechecking the files. But the problem didn’t clear up.
Hi @starhorsepax2,
Since we do not have access to the Pro version of the WP Maps plugin, we were unable to check this issue on a test website at our end. Would it be possible for you to setup a staging website and share the URL where we can replicte the issue to investigate this further?
A staging website is a copy of your live website in a new directory on the same server using a separate database. I hope your hosting provider can help you set up a staging website.
If you are not comfortable sharing the staging URL publicly here in the forum, please feel free to email us at [email protected] using the following subject line.
Subject: ATTN: WPMU DEV support - wp.org
Please send:
– Link to your staging website
– Link back to this thread for reference (https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/google-maps-dont-show-with-it-enabled)
– Any other relevant URLs/info
Looking forward to hearing back from you.
Best Regards,
Nebu John
I will look into if we have room for a staging. Or at least a clone. Would a clone do?
Hi @starhorsepax2,
Yes, a clone will be sufficient as long as we can reproduce the issue in that environment.
Looking forward to hearing back from you and helping you resolve the issue as soon as possible.
Best Regards,
Nebu John
Ok, I cloned and sent to support. Yesterday in fact. Hope an answer is found. The site is lagging without the cache on.
Hi @starhorsepax2,
Thank you for getting back to us.
We have forwarded this issue to our developers for further review and we’ll update you here once we have more feedback on this as soon as possible.
Best Regards,
Nebu John
Hi @starhorsepax2,
We have an update from our developers.
Unfortunately, this issue needs to be addressed at the Hummingbird end; a workaround cannot be suggested at the moment. We already have a task in our plugin backlog that should address the issue. However, an ETA on this cannot be provided at the moment. Please keep an eye on the plugin change log for further updates.
Please feel free to get back to us if you need any further clarification.
Best Regards,
Nebu John
Hi @starhorsepax2
As said above, this was already forwarded to our developers, and I am marking this thread as resolved, but if you have any additional questions, feel free to let us know.
Kind Regards,
Kris
