Hi. I tried using Advanced Gutenberg to embed a Google Map but it gives me “Oops something went wrong” error.

I have already added the API key, and enabled Maps Embed API and Maps JavaScript APIis there any additional APIs to enable or do anything else in order to get this working?

I have used the Map option Lat, Long.

    Thank you!

  • Hi,

    Thanks for contacting us.
The error that is returned by Google maps API is the following: “Google Maps JavaScript API error: RefererNotAllowedMapError”. This is because the domain name related to API key is not allowed, so it prevents the Map to be loaded in Gutenberg.

    Could you double check that?

    Cheers,

Hi! Thank you for the reply. I am sorry the problem was at my end. I figured out that I have not configured the “Website restrictions” properly.

    Cheers for the great work!
