Google Optimize diagnostics errors – started recently
-
Hi All,
I’m running several Google Optimize experiments on my domain (https://james-cormack.com) and have been running different experiments over the last 3 months or so.
This used to work fine – whenever I ran diagnostics tests in Google Optimize, the tests passed successfully.
But within the last few days, whenever I run diagnostics in Google Optimize I get these errors:
– Error: Optimize plugin not found
– Error: Analytics tracking code not found
– Warning: The anti-flicker snippet timed outI haven’t changed anything on my site or in Google Tag Manager, so I’ve got no idea why this has started happening.
Could this be a new bug in the Google Tag Manager for WordPress plugin? Or maybe a new bug in Google Optimize? Has anyone got any guidance please?
Thank you for your help,
