I ren a client´s site on Google PageSpeed Insights and it triggered an issue on the diagnostic tab under the “Does not use passive listeners to improve scrolling performance” for this script…

    /wp-content/cache/autoptimize/js/autoptimize_1409693ddad01e25dd8ae96f49a0114c.js

Why is this being triggered? How can I fixed it?

    Cheers!

  • Plugin Author Optimizing Matters

    (@optimizingmatters)

AO merely combines JS from your theme, plugins & WordPress core, it does not add JS of it’s own in the autoptimized files Roger. If you want to find out what causes that warning, try disabling AO by adding ?ao_noptimize=1 to the URL when re-running the pagespeed test, that might reveal the culprit.

    hope this helps,
    frank
